There is weeks before his bday but since many things are coming up, so I made it in advanced. I seriously didn't plan this surprise actually. Its just falls at the right time and I use the opportunity to hold a surprise for him alone. I repeat, its ALONE. And I managed to surprise him until he was stunt for a few seconds when he saw me with the cake.
Okay, here's the story.Initially I planned to have assignment discussions with my group members on Friday and so, I asked him to come over to Kampar to fetch me on Saturday morning. And since I am so effing efficient, I finished all my work and I secretly went back to Ipoh on Friday. My plan was, asking him to come over to my house on Friday after his work to collect a book in my room and bring it over to me on Saturday. On Friday, once I reached home, I start baking him a cake. A simple butter cake. Not cheese cake, choco cake, tiramisu etc. My baking skills are limited and this is my very first time baking alone for usually I would bake with my mom.
And then, when he is about to reach my house, I light up all the candles and hid in my room waiting for him to come. And there's some incidents happened in between which almost make my perfect plan go cacat a bit..Yeah, almost epic fail. But luckily, God bless me.. Once he open the door and saw me with the lighted candles cake, he stunt for a few seconds. Then I start singing bday song and he make a wish and blew the candles and DONE!
Guess I am a successful planner and marketer. Expect the unexpected!
